OCAD

OCAD. Spring. Toronto. 2008.

I promised more colourful photos! and here they are :)

I realized that I enjoy walking downtown because there are simply so many things to see. Things around downtown Toronto is cluttered, noisy, colourful. Things are simply happening everywhere, every corner you turn. Things around uptown is so much more scattered. And thats why they have a more peaceful nature.

vell...everybody needs some excitement (well not THAT exciting) in their life right?

far far away land

Elm. Toronto. 2008.

Yes, in a way, Elm is far far away land. Not just in terms of distance, but in terms of time as well.

another walk around Yorkville

Yorkville. Toronto. 2008.

Found a little heaven tucked away in between narrow streets. Lots of tables and chair around for you to sit and sip your ice-blended mocha, and catch up to the latest gossips with your favourite girl friends.

Gosh too many black and white photos. Hope that would be kinda the last black and white photo for a while. While I simply LOVE black and white photos, because they exude a certain something more than coloured photos, but there is always a certain darkness lurking around. Maybe because of all the darkness that is lurking around my heart these days. So hopefully I can take more coloured one :)

Here! Cheers to a brighter, better, and more colourful tomorrow~~

a different view of yorkville

Yorkville is somewhere posh, somewhere high-end, somewhere glittery of boutiques and car show rooms in the midst of somewhere commercial, somewhere urban, somewhere with homeless people, lots of cars and noise pollution. It's like a quiet place that all the rich people go and hide themselves admist all the craziness you get from daily lives.

Union GO station at night

2008.

2008.

2008.

no edits were done for the photos.

I always loved (still loving :P) Toronto at night. I feel that it gives a different feel when all the lights around the roads and inside apartments are on. It's more quiet than the downtown in the day, yet it doesn't have that pin-drop silence that now I'm getting all too familiar with in uptown.

136th of 366

Union station. A window that not many people would notice, yet its presence could be felt immediately.

For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it.
For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it.”

The Cosmopolitan City - Toronto

This could very well be the best photo of Toronto I had ever taken.
The weather was gorgeous. The lightings were perfect. The vantage point was a chance not to be missed.

The Sanctuary~

I've always loved Centre Island. It is the little sanctuary away from all the rushing, bustling, noise and congestion.

135th of 366 - Centre Island I
